Our Life with DJ

Many people see look at a child with a disease and they see only his imperfect physical body. There is so much more just below the surface. The beauty of our children is captured in this description by Lee Fisher, whose daughter Zeva succumbed to Tay-Sachs:

"I have often thought that our children are like geodes.  Perhaps to others, who only see the exterior, they have little to offer... but for those of us who travel inside of them on our journey - what magical and rare gifts their presence brings."

	DJ loves to snuggle up to his parents.
				DJ listens carefully to his dad's stories.
Quiet times with DJ when he doesn't feel well.
				DJ has his hair combed after his bath.
	DJ loves to ride in the car, listening to music.
